About the Role
Were seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide remote instructional services to K12 students across the New Orleans area. This full-time teletherapy role allows you to support students communication and academic development through live virtual instruction and consultation with teachers and families.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver virtual instruction and consultation for students with hearing impairments.

Develop and implement IEPs addressing language, listening, and academic needs.

Collaborate with teachers, interpreters, and families to ensure accessibility.

Support auditory training, amplification devices, and communication technology use.

Maintain compliance with all district and DOE documentation requirements.
Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education or related field.

Active Louisiana Department of Education (DOE) Teaching Certification with DHH endorsement.

Proficiency in ASL and/or auditory-oral communication preferred.

Experience with virtual instruction or teletherapy platforms strongly preferred.
